Whitsunday Shire Family Day Care offers quality child care in our educator’s homes, catering for new babies through to pre-teens in Proserpine, Mount Julian, Wilson Beach, Strathdickie, Mount Marlow, Cannonvale, Woodwark, Jubilee Pocket and Midge Point. Whitsunday Shire Family Day Care has been providing quality childcare since 1984 and has been rated as EXCEEDING under the National Quality Standards.
Family day care is flexible care that is matched to your family's needs. The close relationship between your educator and your family ensures that the interests of your child and family are accommodated wherever possible.
The coordination unit provides information, support and assistance to your family. We pride ourselves on being a local office supporting local educators and families. Our office is central to our educator's locations, allowing us to competently recruit and train educators and provide ongoing monitoring, support and professional development.
